“You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity…” (2 Cor. 9:11). St. Paul provides words of encouragement for the faithful believers and followers of Jesus Christ in Corinth to continue giving generously to the needs of the people and the church. “For they gave according to their means, as I can testify, and beyond their means, of their own free will…” (1 Cor. 8:3) Giving is an essential part the Christian life and one that helps us to love sacrificially.

Why is it important to give?
+ To thank God for blessing us
+ It increases our faith and trust in God
+ To support the ministries and needs of the parish
+ To help us love sacrificially

OSV Online Giving – How do I use it?
OSV Online Giving is the system St. John’s uses for online tithing. You can give gifts that recur weekly, monthly, semi-monthly, quarterly, annually, or one time. You can donate by an automatic withdrawal from your bank account; or use a debit or credit card. Please remember that when giving with automatic withdrawal from your bank account we receive 100% of your donation to fund the ministries of the church.  With online giving via Credit Card we are charged a 2.94% transaction and credit card processing fee for each individual offering.  You are welcome to set up either way, we just want to make you aware! OSV Online Giving is safe, consistent, convenient, and simple to use (see below for some helpful steps).  If you have any questions contact David Heinekamp, Director of Finance, at 317.635.2021 or email at david.heinekamp@stjohnsindy.org.
