    Stewardship

Click below or on the icon to the right to be redirected to our secure online giving site through OSV Online Giving. “You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity…” (2 Cor. 9:11). St. Paul provides words of encouragement for the faithful believers and followers of Jesus Christ in Corinth to continue giving generously to the needs of the people and the church. “For they gave according to their means, as I can testify, and beyond their means, of their own free will…” (1 Cor. 8:3) Giving is an essential part the Christian life and one that helps us to love sacrificially. Jesus encourages us to not store up treasures on earth, but states, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Matt. 6:21) It is a call to be generous, to give a portion of our blessings back to God motivated by grace and gratitude.

    Give Online

Why is it important to give?
+ To thank God for blessing us
+ It increases our faith and trust in God
+ To support the ministries and needs of the parish
+ To help us love sacrificially

OSV Online Giving – How do I use it?
OSV Online Giving is the system St. John’s uses for online tithing. You can give gifts that recur weekly, monthly, semi-monthly, quarterly, annually, or one time. You can donate by an automatic withdrawal from your bank account; or use a debit or credit card. Please remember that when giving with automatic withdrawal from your bank account we receive 100% of your donation to fund the ministries of the church.  With online giving via Credit Card we are charged a 2.80% transaction and credit card processing fee for each individual offering.  You are welcome to set up either way, we just want to make you aware! OSV Online Giving is safe, consistent, convenient, and simple to use (see below for some helpful steps).  If you have any questions contact David Heinekamp, Director of Finance in the parish office at call at 317.635.2021 or email at [email protected].

Setting up your OSV Online Giving Account
    1. Click on the OSV Online Giving Icon (near the top of this page); you will be redirected to St. John’s OSV Online Giving webpage.
    2. Click the purple “Sign In/Create Account” button and then the white "Create New Account" to register and start giving. Fill out the "Create an Account" page and then click “Create Account” at the bottom of the page.

    4. Click on "Funds" at the top of the page.  Select a fund that you wish to start giving towards and and then enter a gift amount and type (one-time or recurring).  Click “Continue” and verify that the information is correct.
    5. If you would like to give another gift, please repeat Step 4.
    6. From the Home Page, you can add payment methods, set up new gifts, view or update current gifts, and view giving history.
    7. You're all set to contribute through OSV Online Giving.  Thank you and congratulations!  Finally, don't forget that you can give to multiple categories if you would like to.
