Thinking about becoming Catholic?
Perhaps you are searching quietly and yearn for a deeper relationship with God. Are you looking for a sense of belonging in a faith community and a greater fulfillment of your mission in life? Are you looking for a pressure-free, non-judgmental environment where you can learn more about the Catholic Church?
If you are not baptized, are not Catholic, or are Catholic and have not received the sacraments of Eucharist and/or Confirmation; we invite you to look deeper into the mystery of God and the faith of the Church through the process known as Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). RCIA is a modern form of the ancient process used in the first centuries of Christianity for admitting new members into the Church of the apostles. The formation process is concerned with the total formation of the person: learning about the Church community (doctrinal formation), living with the Church community (practical formation), praying with the Church (liturgical formation), and serving with the Church community (apostolic formation). If you feel that you are being called to explore and deepen your faith and would like more information, we invite you to contact our Director of Adult Catechesis, Bri Campbell: [email protected] or 317-635-2021. |
