Friday, September 22 | St. John Catholic Church Doors open at 5:45pm for pizza, Film begins at 6:15pm *Please note this is an earlier start time than previous Pro-Life Films All are welcome to join us for the next Pro-Life Film Series on September 22 at St. John's. The film shown will be "The Matter of Life." This documentary covers the journey to unravel the complexities of the abortion issue through science, philosophy, history, and powerful personal stories. The film answers hard questions and provides hope for the future. There will be a panel discussion following the film including Alex Mingus (Assoc. Pro-Life Lecture
Friday, September 15 | Holy Rosary Catholic Church Doors open at 6pm for pizza, Lecture begins at 6:30pm All are welcome to the next event of our Pro-Life Series on September 15 at Holy Rosary. Fr. McCarthy will be giving a lecture based on his book “What to Do with the Least of Our Brothers? Finding Moral Solutions to the Problem of Endangered Embryos.” In a time when unwanted embryos are set aside, freeze dried, and abandoned or destroyed, this lecture will explore from the Catholic perspective the possibility of frozen embryo rescue by adoption. We will look at those arguments which take into account the elements of in vitro fertilization and the path of adoption to fully re-incorporate an abandoned child. Questions or need more info?
