Friday, November 15 | Holy Rosary Catholic Church Doors open at 6pm for pizza, Lecture begins at 6:30pm All are welcome to join us for this Pro-Life Lecture on Friday, November 15 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Doors open at 6pm for pizza, the lecture will begin at 6:30pm. Most people do not realize that sometimes abortion procedures fail, are stopped, or reversed (abortion pill), and survivors exist. Come hear Melissa Ohden share her story as an abortion survivor and pro-life speaker. |
In 1977, Melissa’s biological mother was a 19 year old college student when she had a saline infusion abortion that was meant to end Melissa’s life. Although her biological mother thought that she was less than five months pregnant when she had the abortion, the fact that Melissa survived and weighed almost 3 pounds indicates that her biological mother was much further along in her pregnancy than she realized.
“Our culture has hidden the truth about how babies survive abortions. And our culture has left us unsupported. And for many of us sitting in a place of shame and having to grapple on this journey on our own.” - Melissa Ohden
