    Stewardship

Click below or on the icon to the right to be redirected to our secure online giving site through WeShare.
“You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity…” (2 Cor. 9:11). St. Paul provides words of encouragement for the faithful believers and followers of Jesus Christ in Corinth to continue giving generously to the needs of the people and the church. “For they gave according to their means, as I can testify, and beyond their means, of their own free will…” (1 Cor. 8:3) Giving is an essential part the Christian life and one that helps us to love sacrificially. Jesus encourages us to not store up treasures on earth, but states, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Matt. 6:21) It is a call to be generous, to give a portion of our blessings back to God motivated by grace and gratitude.

Why is it important to give?
+ To thank God for blessing us
+ It increases our faith and trust in God
+ To support the ministries and needs of the parish
+ To help us love sacrificially

WeShare – How do I use it?
WeShare is the system St. John’s uses for online tithing. You can give gifts that recur weekly, monthly, semi-monthly, quarterly, annually, or one time. You can donate by an automatic withdrawal from your bank account; or use a debit or credit card. It is safe, consistent, convenient, and simple to use (see below for some helpful steps).  If you have any questions feel free to give the parish office at call at 317.635.2021 or email at office@stjohnsindy.org.

Open your web browser and go to www.stjohnsindy.org
    1. Click the “Donate” tab at the top right hand of the home page and then click on the WeShare icon/image; you will be redirected to St. John’s WeShare webpage.

    7. Choose how you wish to give to St. John’s by clicking on 1 of the 8 categories: Sunday Offering, Church Restoration, Young Adult/College Campus Ministry, Haiti Ministry, Garden Door Ministry, Vocations, Flower Offering, or the Criterion.
    8. After choosing a category, a box will pop up with a description of the category, and ways to donate. Fill out and complete the required information.
    9. You’re all set to contribute through WeShare! Thank you and congratulations!

Finally, don’t forget that you can give to multiple categories if you would like to.
