Pilgrimage to the Holy Land
May 8-18, 2023 St. John's 2023 Holy Land Pilgrimage is May 8-18, 2023! Walk in the footsteps of Jesus and St. John the Evangelist. Pilgrimage sites include Bethlehem, the site where Jesus was born; Nazareth where the childhood years of Christ took place. We’ll have reflection time on the shore of the Sea of Galilee and renew our baptismal vows at the River Jordan. We’ll also pray at the Mount of the Beatitudes, visit the ancient village of Capernaum and journey to Jerusalem and holy sites such as the Mount of Olives, the Upper Room and walk the Via Dolorosa (the way of the Cross) from the place Christ was condemned to his place of crucifixion and burial at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
