This spring (April 21-27, 2018) St. John's will be taking a mission trip to visit our sister parish St. Nickolas in Mole, Haiti. Haiti is arguably the poorest country in the western hemisphere. The mission is open for application from all St. John Parishioners. The purpose of the mission trip is to:
Build relationships between St. John’s Community and St. Nicholas Parish, in Mole
To seek Christ in our Haitian brothers and sisters and to be Christ for the poor
To bring the HOPE of Christ to a suffering people of God
To grow missionary hearts
To learn more about the Catholic Social Justice Teaching
To answer the Church’s call to have a preference for the poor
