From Head to Heart: Understanding the Treasures Revealed in Jesus Christ

    St. John’s Faith Formation Series
September - February (meets twice per month)
    Picture
This coming Fall, St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church is excited to offer a new adult faith formation program designed for those Catholics who have been catechized but feel that there is something missing in their theological background. Do you feel that you have a pretty good understanding of the Catholic faith tradition but sense that your heart is yearning for a deeper conversion and a more intimate relationship with our Trinitarian God?

If you missed a session of the Faith Formation Series and would like to catch up, you can do so online: https://vimeo.com/showcase/8851356

Our new adult formation series will help you gain insight and develop the tools you need to grow deeper in your relationship with the mystery of Christ. Our knowledgeable and experienced presenters, Ken Jensen and Randy Evans, look through the lens of the Early Church Fathers and offer their insight and reflections on the movement of the Holy Spirit during the first seven Ecumenical Councils of the Church. Ken and Randy will present various topics of discussion and address questions such as:
    • How is the mystery of God revealed?
    • Why do the Holy Scriptures carry such authority?
    • How do we know that the Church is faithfully interpreting God’s revelation to man?
    • How is the mystery of man revealed in union with Christ?
    • What is the essence of living a sacramental life?

We invite both parishioners and friends to join us as we gather on twelve Monday evenings throughout the months of September thru February in St. John’s Parish Hall. The hall is located on the main floor of the Pan Am building at the corner of Capitol and Georgia Streets. Classes will meet from 6:30 pm. to 8:00 pm. on the following days:
    • September 13 & 27
    • October 11 & 25
    • November 8 & 22
    • December 6 & 13
    • January 10 & 24
    • February 7 & 21

    HOW DO I SIGN UP?
While registration is not required to attend, it does help us better plan.  You may register for this faith formation series using the form below (or at this link: https://www.web4ucorp.com/forms/forms/view.php?id=1034201)  Please note there is no cost to attend the series.  All are welcome!
