Look! Our Blessed Mother Mary riding on a donkey, on her journey with Joseph from Nazareth to Bethlehem. (Lk 2:5) She carries baby Jesus into the world for the first time! Jesus, yet unborn, is hidden in the womb of Mary. Now, look at this Priest carrying Jesus out into our world! Hidden again by a simple Host of bread, but God is truly present at this very moment! Alive! God passing by! (Ex 33:222) Seen and unseen. Did you know that Jesus, Lord and Savior, is made present physically and spiritually at over 300,000 Masses celebrated daily around the world? Jesus told us He would never leave us orphans, and that He would always be with us! (Jn 14:18; Mt 28:20) From that first Christmas Jesus dwelt among us! He is the Bread of Life come down from Heaven, (Jn 6:51) so that all who confess the name of Jesus, shall have life eternal! (Rom 10:9) Brothers and Sisters! This Christmas, rejoice in the miracle of the Incarnation- God made man!! (Gal 4:4-7) Come and see our God, made small and humble and hidden so that we would not be afraid to approach Him! Did you know that you are loved by Him with an everlasting love? (Jer 31:3) You are!! Blessings for a Holy and Joy-filled Christmas Season!! |
