Christmas Schedule at St. John's
This year, we celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Advent on December 24, and Christmas on Monday, December 25. This means we get to celebrate the Mass twice - once to fulfill the Sunday obligation, and once to celebrate the great feast of our Lord’s Birth. St. John’s will have Mass for Sunday’s obligation (the 4th Sunday of Advent) on December 24 at 8am and 10:30am. Christmas Masses will be Christmas Eve at 4:30pm, Midnight Mass beginning at 12am, and Christmas Day at 9:30am. Please note that one Mass will not fulfill both obligations, and there will be no 7pm Mass on Sunday, December 24.
Feast Day of St. John the Evangelist (December 27)
Join us for the feast day of our patron, St. John the Evangelist, on December 27 for the 12:10pm daily Mass. All are welcome! |
Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God (January 1)
For the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God, St. John's will have a 9:30am Mass. Please note that this is not a Holy Day of Obligation this year. |

Please note, there will be no Daily Mass or Confessions on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Day. Daily Mass and Confessions will be on the normal schedule December 26-29 with confessions from 11am-12pm and Daily Mass at 12:10pm.
