Randy Evans who is a retired Orthodox priest will present on the topic and will explore the following:
- Looking closely at a central aspect of human respect--Personal Boundaries--what they are, and how they function in all relationships, especially between parents and adult children, and other close family members who no longer attend Mass.
- Learning to appreciate each person's unique and distinct reality and what it means that our children must be allowed to write their own story.
- Recognizing our parental control and slowly "letting go" in order to maximize influence with our adult children.
- What scripture teaches us as firm reasons for hope when we pray for and encourage our children as they make future decisions on their life's journey.
