Opening Wide the Doors Restoration Campaign

We have reached and exceeded our goal! Currently, we have pledges totaling $548,348. Amazing – Praise be to God! Thank you to everyone who contributed to the campaign. I am grateful for your generosity and sacrifice! Handicap & family restrooms and a new wheelchair ramp are beginning soon.

While we have exceeded the original goal, we are still accepting donations and are hoping to reach $575,000 in order to install glass doors inside the main front doors as well. The doors will make a tremendous difference to everyone walking by the church. When the center wooden doors were open during the Super Bowl and Final Four, the difference in the amount of people who entered the church compared to when they were shut was astonishing. With the doors closed, people weren’t sure it they could enter. With the doors open, people feel welcome to walk in or at least peer into our grand and beautiful church. Installing glass doors inside the main wooden doors would allow us to preserve the original feel, while also providing a welcoming presence to visitors and those passing by the church.

If you would like to help us raise the funds to install the center glass doors, send your pledge card in the mail today, drop it in the collection basket, or see below to donate online! Your gift makes a difference, no matter the size!  For donation options see below:

Again, thank you and construction on the restrooms and ramp will begin soon!

Many hands make light work. May God bless you for your generosity!
