    Unite our Nation Eucharistic Procession
Saturday, December 12 (Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe)

As part of a national effort called Unite Our Nation, St. John the Evangelist Parish is hosting an outdoor Eucharistic Procession and Rally from 9-11 a.m. on Dec. 12 to pray for peace in our country. It is fitting that this is also the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Patroness of the Americas.  Registration is required, and attendance is limited to 250. Participants will gather at 9 a.m. outside St. John the Evangelist Church at Georgia and Capitol streets. Led by the Eucharist, the group will process along four blocks to the south side of Monument Circle for adoration and the Patriotic Rosary from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The group will then reverse route, ending with Benediction inside the church at 11 a.m. Masks and social distancing are required. There will also be a Mass at 8am inside St. John's prior to the procession (first come, first serve) on available seating.

    Register for the Procession: https://signup.com/go/DePqWyD

    In case of Inclement Weather:
If we do have inclement weather, please still plan to join us! There will be Mass rain or shine inside St. John's at 8am.  If it's not possible to process outside due to weather, there will be a Procession, Adoration and Rosary inside St. John's.  Come join us rain or shine to pray for unity and peace!

At least 10 volunteers are needed—contact Eric Slaughter at 317-408-0528 to help. The event is free, although donations to offset security and safety measures will be accepted at soldiersforpeace.org. For those unable to walk, the church will remain open for prayer for a maximum of 250 people from 9-11 a.m.
