It is good that you have come!

We are located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis at 126 W Georgia Street (at the corner of Capitol Ave and Georgia Street right across from the Indiana Convention Center). St. John the Evangelist serves a diverse population that ranges from traditional parishioners, young adults/college students, daily Mass goers, visitors, and our homeless brothers and sisters.

Celebrating almost 175 year of ministry in the city, St. John’s seeks to “open wide the doors to Christ” so that we can be Christ to one another and to those we encounter daily.  In the year of celebration for 175 years St. John’s will CELEBRATE the rich heritage of the oldest Catholic Church in Indianapolis.  ENKINDLE the fire of Our Lord and His Holy Catholic Church within all those we serve as our parish family.  INVITE others to join us to share in this great faith journey to grow in deeper relationship and love with Our Lord and His Holy Catholic Church.  Join us in celebrating a 175 years!  To learn more about the 175h year of celebration click here.
